Eric Borgh Psychotherapy

Psychoanalytically informed psychotherapy for individuals and couples, supervision and consultation.

“A self is not something static, tied up in a pretty parcel… a self is always becoming.” -Madeleine L’Engle

While some struggles can be solved by functional, solutions oriented approaches, I specialize developing an open reflective space and a therapeutic relationship in which self discovery and inner growth can manifest. Less about the functional and directive, this is an emotive, aspirationally impactful approach, based in the long history of the depth/soul work psychotherapy and psychoanalysis have fostered.

My therapeutic philosophy is grounded in psychoanalysis; shaped by Interpersonal and British Object-Relations theory in dialogue with the larger field of psychology, philosophy and spiritual traditions.

I have worked at length with emotional disturbances such as anxiety and depression, psychotic symptoms, mental disorganization, relational concerns, and identity exploration related to race, religion, gender, sexual orientation and other social-cultural identities.

I offer superbills for self submission to insurance.
My fee for 50 minutes is $190.
